can electric current be generated by rotating the magnet and keeping the coil of the wire stationary in a generator.give reasons for your answer​

A rotating coil is really equivalent to a permanent magnet. It receives the same polarity of DC curr.... it works only if the North and south pole exchange position ..... The reason that alternators dont use magnets because they adjust constantly the current in the stator to change the output voltage .
