See Electricity passes through only those solutions which have high concentration of H+ ions.So Acid will conduct Electricity but salts and bases won't.

Answer:

1.Solid salt will not conduct electricity because the sodium and chloride ions are not free to move around. However, when salt is dissolved in water, it dissociates completely into ions, and so is a strong conductor of electric current.

2.Bases are also electrolytes which give ions in aqueous solutions and these ions help to conduct electricity. But better use Strong Base as it gives ions easily rather than weak base ; thus strong base conduct electricity easily than weaker base.

3.Acids are good conductor of electricity when they are taken in aqueous solution. ... The stronger the acid, the more hydrogen ions in solution (and more anions), the better the conductor. Weak acids like vinegar (acetic acid) conduct much less because it loses much fewer ions in solution.
