Yes, force can act without any interaction between two objects. I.e. non- contact force. Example :
An Apple falls to the ground even though the ground is not touching it.
A positive and a negative charged pole attracts each other.
Sone examples of non- contact force:
Gravitational force
Magnetic force
Electrostatic force.
