1) ANGLE 2 = 80° ( V.O.A )

ANGLE 1 = 2 ( CORRESPONDING ANGLES )

SO , ANGLE 1 = 80°

ANGLE 3 = 80° ( ALTERNATE ANGLES )

ANGLE 4 = ANGLE 3 (CORRESPONDING ANGLE)

SO, ANGLE 4 = 80°



2) 2x + (3x+20) = 180° ( CO INTERIOR ANGLES )


=> 5x + 20 = 180

=> 5x = 160

=> x = 160/5

=> 32°

So , x must be equal to 32° So l1 and l2 would be parallel because there sum would be equal to 180° and any line of 180° is straight and parallel.
