Can I install LINUX on Dell Vostro. If yes, will it have any issues or it will work well as windows???

I don't know specifically about Dell Vostro but if you have enough HDD space, there won't be any problem. many of my friends have both linux and windows running in their systems fine. The laptops are sony, hp envy and hp pavillion.
