Can it be shown that the principle of least action applies to problems with no analytical solutions?

Hey mate!

After thinking about the earlier version of my question, I realize that what I’m really asking about is whether it can be shown that the principle of least action applies to systems without an analytical (closed form) solution. The clearest example of a problem without an analytical solution I’ve been able to come up with is the many body problem.
