Yes there are both upward and downward mobility in classes.

According to theory of social mobility it basically means when we move from one status or class to another.

We can see both downward and upward mobility because there are various reasons.

For example if you shift to higher class it will be known as upward mobility and when you shift to downward class then it will be known as downward mobility.
