age of savita =18
according to question ,
x+4=18
x=14yrs
age of rajan is 14 yrs

2.let the total no. of students be x
present students =32
according to question
x-4=32
x=36
total no. of students in class is 36

3.let the beginning money of hari be x
his father give money=70
total money =130
initial money=130-70
=60
so, he have 60 ruppe from beginning

4.let the age of sahil be x
let the age of nikhil be y
according to question,
4x=3y
x=3y/4
after five yrs,
5x=4y
putting the value of x
15y/4=4y
15y=16y

Savita's age=4-x=18

Rajan's age= 4-x=18

                      x=18+4

x=22

i.e. Rajan's age is 22 years

v. Total number of students in class=x

number of students present today=32 (x-4=32)

Therefore, total number of students= x-4=32

x=36

i.e. the total number of students is 36

vi. Amount of money Hari had at the beginning=x

amount of money given to Hari by his father=RS 70

Amount of money now=RS 130

Therefore, amount of money in the beginning= x+70=130

                                                                               x=130-70

x=50

i.e. Hari had RS 50 in the beginning

vii. Ratio= 4:3

Age of Sahil=4x

Age of Nikhil=3x

Ratio after 5 years= 5:4

Therefore, x=4x+5+3x+5=5x+4x

                      7x+10=9x

                      10=9x-7x

                       10=2x

x=10/2

x=5

i.e. Age of Sahil=4x= 4*5=20 years

Age of Nikhil=3x=3*5=15 years
