Can prayers be unsound and misguided at times? Give examples.

Yes, I agree with the given statement because many people have faith but, they don't have confidence. In other words, we can say that they are depend on god for everything, and are not aware of their abilities, they don't know that they are strong enough to help themselves. For eg- Many students think that they can't learn, but they can pray to god for scoring good. But they won't get marks without learning.
