Solids does not posses fluidity, a property of liquids. Therefore, they are not able to diffuse into each other.

No solids can diffuse in one another....but if they diffuse ..it can be done by a very vary small negligible process...

astitvastitva: What? How 'lead can be converted into gold'?
Anonymous: not converted bro
Anonymous: it can be diffused ....
astitvastitva: Well yeah, diffuse. But how?
Anonymous: it is experimentally proved
Anonymous: but it's very much slow ...thus it sometimes considerd as negligible process
astitvastitva: And what do you get after the diffusion? I mean the product.
astitvastitva: I also have heard about solids being diffused into each other, but that only takes place at absolute zero temperature. And that is completely hypothetical as absolute zero temperature is unachievable.
Anonymous: yaa..here a gold alloy is formed ...which is very much brittle that can be easil crumbled or broken in to pieces..
astitvastitva: Alloys are formed when metals are brought up to their liquid states at very high temperature. LIQUID. It's solids that are being referred here.
