there are total 2 types of seeds

  1. monocotyledonus
  2. dycotyledonus

as per their name monocotyledonus cannot be divided into 2 equal halves that seeds are not symetrical . eg. Rice, wheat, maize, bamboo, palm, banana, ginger, onion, garlic, lilies, daffodils, iris.

similarly, dycotyledonus can be divided into 2 equal halves. they are symetrical eg. Bitter gourd seeds, Castor seeds, Mango seeds, Neem Seeds, Night Jasmine seeds, Papaya seeds and, Tamarind seeds.
