Can somebody tell me How 10^3 came?

The final answer has 10^-3
Now see, we have
1000/(100)^3
=(10)^3/[(10)^2]^3
=(10)^3/(10)^6
=(10)^(3-6)
=10^-3

So, this is how 10^-3 came.
