A test match has 5 days duration with a total of four innings (two teams each) If the team playing in the second innings scores more runs than the first then the extra runs will be considered a lead. And those runs would be added to their fourth inning score. And the same goes if they score less than the team in the first innings .Those would be trail runs and they would be added to the opposite teams final score in the third innings.

5 days cricket match is known as "Test cricket". Test cricket is the longest form of the sport of cricket. In test cricket, the two teams play a four-innings (each team two-innings) match, which may last up to five days. Test matches are played between national representative teams with "Test status" which is conferred upon a country or group of countries by the International Cricket Council (ICC). There are currently ten Test-playing teams.
