SP2 HYBRIDIZATION:
the mixing of one 's' and two 'p' orbitals to form three equivalent sp2 hybrid orbital is called sp2 hybridization. these sp2 hybrid orbitals arrange themselves in trigonal planer geometry making an angle of 120.
SP3 HYBRIDIZATION:
the mixing of one 's' and three 'p' orbitals to form two equivalent sp3 hybrid orbital is called sp3 hybridization. these sp3 hybrid orbitals are directed from the center of a regular tetrahedron to its four corners. the angle between tetrahedrally arranged orbital is 109.5

Sp3- HYBRIDIZATION

The process of hybridization in which one s-orbital and three p-orbitals overlap to produce four hybrid-orbital is known as Sp3-hybridization.
These hybrid-orbital are identical in shape and energy. These orbital are known as Sp3-hybrid orbitals. Sp3-orbitals are at an angle of 109.5o from each other. Sp3-orbital are arranged in tetrahedral fashion.
