Explanation:

as the car is moving in a circular path the pseudo centripetal force will be acting on the bob along the radius vector technically in the horizontal direction outwards and the weight of the bob is downwards

taking their components in the direction of tension you get tension in mass velocity and radius and theta now you might have a doubt why is tension equal to the sum of components the thing is the algebraic sum of all the forces should be equal to mass times acceleration in that direction and as the bob doesn't move in the direction at all (the string length is taken to be constant) you can equate them but this whole thing is useless

the components perpendicular to the rod are gonna give you a better analysis

the rod will be at a stable position if net force is zero so equate the perpendicular components to zero and you will be getting the answer
