sin 2x - sin 4x + sin 6x = 0

( sin 6x + sin 2x ) - sin 4x = 0

( we know sin x + sin y = 2 sin ( x+y / 2 ) cos ( x - y / 2 ) )

= 2 sin (6x +2x /2 ) cos (6x - 2x / 2 )  - sin 4x = 0

=  2 sin 4x cos 2x - sin 4x = 0
