Answer:

Cyclones are the whorl of high speed winds accompanied by destruction.

Explanation:

The precautionary measures are as follows-

Select the innermost part of your home, on the ground floor, to ride out the storm, but not a basement or cellar. In the event of flooding, being in those areas of your home may make it impossible to escape. Stay away from all windows and glass doors!

Cyclone :-

A cyclone is a system of winds rotating counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere around a low pressure center. The swirling air rises and cools, creating clouds and precipitation. There are two types of cyclones: middle latitude (mid-latitude) cyclones and tropical cyclones.

Cyclones are characterized by inward spiraling winds that rotate about a zone of low pressure. The largest low-pressure systems are polar vortices and extratropical cyclones of the largest scale (the synoptic scale).

It's Precautions :-

• Don't go outside until officially advised it is safe.

• Check for gas leaks. Don't use electric appliances if wet.

• Listen to local radio for official warnings and advice.

• If you have to evacuate, or did so earlier, don't return until advised. Use a recommended route and don't rush.

• Beware of damaged power lines, bridges, buildings, trees, and don't enter floodwaters.

• Heed all warnings and don't go sightseeing. Check/help neighbours instead.

• Don't make unnecessary telephone calls.
