Answer:

“Light the lamp”.

It's imperative sentence

-”Light the lamp”.

‘Light’ (verb)

the lump = object

Where is subject ?

In such sentences subject is always missing and Subject is always ‘You’ .

So

The sentence should be understood like this -

“You light the lamp”.

Some example

“Sit down”, “Stand up”. “Get out”.

All these are imperative sentences .

The rule regarding this type of questions for voice is like this —-

Let +object + be +V3

So

The answer is like this -

Let the lamp be lighted .

Or

You are suggested/ordered +to +light ((verb)+the lamp (object)

So other answer—

“You are suggested/ordered (according to the sense ) to light the lamp”.

Actually passive voice should be used when the Object has more weitage/popularity.

For example

Mr. Kennedy or Mrs. Indira Gandhi or Saddam Hussain were more popular than the Subject so the passive form is used.

For example

“Mrs. Indira Gandhi was assassinated”

Why

Because

Mrs. Indira Gandhi (the object) is more important than the Subject ( Unidentified persons/gunmen )

So more focus is given to the object . In the same way when verb has more importance .
