Cost price of 40 balls 40 x 50 = 2000

Selling Price of 30 balls 60 x 30 = 1800

Profit % = 40 %

Profit =
 = \frac{40}{100} \times 2000 \\ = 800
Total selling Price is = 2000 + 800
=2800

Difference is =2800 -1800. =1000

So He should sell the remaining 10 balls for ₹ 1000
and he should sell each remaining ball = 1000/10
= ₹100 Answer

Hope it helps you
