Answer:

1

given in fig.,

BC=a

AB=c

AC=b

Using Pythagoras Theorem in given triangle, we get

a²+c²=b²   .....(1)

sin θ = AB/AC = c/b

=>sin²θ = c²/b²

cos θ = BC/AC = a/b

=>cos²θ = a²/b²

Hence,

sin²θ + cos²θ = c²/b² +a²/b²

= (c²+a²)/b² = b²/b² = 1                               (Using (1))

By the way,

No need to find,

its directly a formula

i.e. sin²Ф+cos²Ф=1

so, 1 is the answer.

but if u are in a class less than 10, then don't write it.

HOPE IT HELPS,
