9 = (1/2)(20-2)   ,  27/2 = (1/2)(30-3)

= 9*27/4 + 27   + 9*27/4

= (27/4)(9 + 4 + 9)

= (27/4)* 22

= 27 * 11 /2

= 148.5 m²


or simply Total Area = 20 * 30 = 600 m²

Pond Area = 3*2 = 6 m²

Remaining area = 600 - 6 = 594 m²

Area of sunflower = 594/4 = 148.5 m²
