As you know the resistance of wire is directly proportional to the length of the wire so if the the wire is stretched double the resistance in the wire will also increase twice its amount

Resistance (r) is directly proportional to square of length of wire(l^2)
Resistivity only depends​ upon nature of material.

KVianpraju: R1/R2 = L1^2/L2^2
