Valmiki is the person who composed the epic RAMAYANA,with the support of Lord Brahma in the 5th century .
his name was Agni sharma. he leanrt scriptures from Narada (a sage).he composed his first shloka while walking around The Ganga. his first disciples were Luv and Kush to whom he thought the Ramayana. he was considered as father of sanskrit classical poetry.....

Valmiki is saint and he wrote Ramayana the holy book of hindhu's and valmiki firstly he was a hunter and the group his caste was called (Beda's) and his occupation was stealing others (thief) and hunting once he was searching for stealing one saint was arriving on the road he blocked the saint and asked the stealing worth what he wants but saint was not having anything to give than saint told that dont steel others it is not well for you and your family but the valmiki didn't recognise what the saint was telling .saint tells that what you steel and give to your family does your family will get your off curse what you made then valmiki said yes they will take my sins and then go ask them the saint told then valmiki ties the saint to the tree and valmiki says if they take off of my sin then you will die if not I'll release you then valmiki goes to the home and asks family then the family said why should we have to share your sins get form here the family says then the valmiki comes to the saint and told yes what you told was right I was wrong the valmiki says to the saint and the valmiki turned in to a good human being and became a great saint and written the holy book called Ramayana
