Can someone tell me what the name of the compound is?

Hello

The above compound is Alpha- pyranose.

Reason:- Because of its six member rig formation and it's Glucopyranose formation.

JessiJ: With the property of 6 carbon and 6 oxygen ring

ScarletD: But I find only 5 carbons.

JessiJ: Every bisection that is where u find OH and H or O there isa carbon it is not written in the formula

ScarletD: I see! But what about the farthest (upper right) WHERE there is O?

JessiJ: This is the reason why we calls it Alpha

ScarletD: I see! Because the O has 2 bonds?
