The cause of carnatic war (Anglo-French) war was because of the following reason
---: The British wanted to increase their profit and if French people trade in India then East India company's profit will decrease and so the war was for the established for the profit of trade of East India company
the result was that that French was defeated chandernagore in Pondicherry was captured Puducherry was given back to the Paris by the Treaty of Paris and the dream of establishing company trade in India of France was ended.
