A galvanic cell is a type of electrochemical cell. It is used to supply electric current by making the transfer of electrons through a redox reaction.
A voltaic cell has a liquid electrolyte(dilute sulphuric acid)
A dry cell has a pasty electrolyte (mixture of ammonium chloride, coke and a little water and manganese dioxide)so that it can be used at any angle.
(Voltaic cells are same as Galvanic cells)
