Ashlin Mathew. The word 'Secular' is in the basic structure of the Constitutionas it is in the Preamble. The basic structure of the Constitution cannot beamended. ... All these are the fundamental aspects of the country and once the Supreme court has held it to be the basic structure, it cannot be changed.

Hey user !

Answer:

The basic structure of the Constitution cannot be amended.

The 42nd Amendment changed the description of India from a "sovereign democratic republic" to a "sovereign, socialist secular democratic republic", and also changed the words "unity of the nation" to "unity and integrity of the nation".
