x=7,y=2

Step-by-step explanation:

1. 3x-7y =7

x=7+7y/3

2. 11x+5y=87

11x 7+7y/3+5y=87

77+77y+15y/3=87

77+92y=87×3

92y=261-77

y=184/92=2

y=2

from 1

x= 7+7×2/3

putting x=7 and y=2 from 3

3. LHS= 5×3+4×2

=35+8

=43=RHS

HENCE,HOLD SIMULTANEOUSLY AND X= 7, Y=2
