Can the foreigners who come and live in India be called Indian citizens?

Answer : NO

Explanation :

Foreigners who come and live permanently in India are known as ''IMMIGRANTS'' but not Indian citizens. They are also known as newcomers, settlers, aliens , and foreigners.

People who leaves their home country in order to settle in another country permanently are known as ''Emigrants'' in their home country and known as ''Immigrants'' in the country where they are living .

For example - If karthik  left his home country America and  permanently settled in India. In this case, karthik is known as ''Emigrant'' in America and ''Immigrant'' in India.
