Answer: Yes it can be considered as an anti war poem

Explanation:   Poem  'the gift of India ' by Sarojini Naidu being a patriotic poem it also depicts the poem as an anti war poem

This poem has depicted horrors of war through the brutal killings of human(Indian Soldiers) in the First World War which causes destruction, devastation and loss of life. This expresses the anti war sentiments.

Throughout the poem Mother India laments the loss of her children. She says ' priceless treasures torn from my breast ', according to mother India her children were as precious as priceless treasures which were snatched away from her torn breast. Her children were gone away in war which were produced from the stricken womb i.e. sorrowful womb.

The field of the war is descried as doom (hell).  ' Sabers of doom ' a metaphor is used to show the devastation it leads. These all shows the intense grief of the mothers over her children's demise.

The soldiers ( mother India's sons) were gathered like pearls, every children is as precious as pearls for their mother, were gathered and in the graves all over in a foreign country land. They are silently buried near the sea of Persia and also scattered here and there like shells in egyptian sands.

These all depicts that war causes a huge destruction of life and mothers get ruined because of their children's death , now all they can do that they can mourn, lament and grief. These all expresses the pain of the mothers caused by war.

The soldiers lied down in pain with pale brows and brave, broken hands. The meadows of Flanders and France which were once used to be green now turned in blood-brown color by the blood of soldiers. These lines gives the expression of voice of countless mothers.

The poem ends with the note that the terror and tumult of hate shall cease and life will be refashioned with anvils of peace.

The poem depicts that the war can only cause destruction and can ruin the life, and it takes years to heal the wounds of hearts,
