if it follows Pythagorean triplet ,
1.5²=2.25
2²=4
2.5²=6.25
then 2.25+4=6.25
so it satisfies the pytogorean triplet and thus is a right triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to say that the line segments 1.5 cm , 2 cm, 2.5 cm be the sides of a right angled triangle or not.

The Pythagoras theorem states that,

Hypotenuse² = base² + height²

Taking squares of all given sides i.e.

1.5² = 2.25

2² = 4

2.5² = 6.25

When rearranged and added, we get :

2.25 + 4= 6.25

Hence, the given sides follows Pythagorean triplet, it can be the sides of a right angled triangle.
