let the first odd consecutive no. be x
second be x+2
third be x+4
Now ,
ATQ...
Given

The sum of three consecutive odd no.= 36
x+(x+2)+(x+4)=36
3x+6=36
3x= 30
x= 10

Thus ,
first odd consecutive no. is x= 10....but it's even

second no. is x+2= 12......(even)

third no. is 14......(even)

Thus, this shows that the sum of three odd consecutive no. can never be = 36

Hope this helps you.....
