Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the time be T hours

When it runs at 40kmph,time=(t+11/60)hrs

Speed=40(t+11/60)

          =40t+22/3

When it runs at 50kmph,time=(t+5/60)hrs

Speed=50(t+5/60)

=50t+25/6

From1 and 2

40t+22/3=50t+25/6

22/3-25/6=50t-40t

22/3-25/6=10t  (lcm=6)

22x2-25x1/6=10t

44-25/6=10t

19/6=10t

10t=19/6

t=19/6x10

t=19/60

putting this in 1

Speed,=40x19/60+22/3

           =2x19/3+22/3

           =38/3+22/3

           =38+22/3

           =60/3km

           =20km

Therefore speed=20km.
