no,two obtuse angles can't form a linear pair.
as sum of linear pair is 180°, and obtuse angle 180°>90° that's why it can't.

Answer:

Two obtuse angles cannot form a linear pair.

Step-by-step explanation:

Linear pair:

  • Linear pair of angles are the adjacent angles formed when two lines intersect at a point.
  • The sum of the adjacent angles of a linear pair is always equal to 180°.
  • They always make a straight line.

Obtuse angle:

  • Obtuse angle is an angle whose measure is greater than 90° and less than 180°.

Obtuse angle is greater than 90°.

So, when two obtuse angles are added, their sum of angles will be greater than 180°.

Therefore, they cannot make a linear pair.

As shown in the figure, if \angle AOB=95^o, to make it a linear pair, the \angle COB=180-95=85^o, which is an acute angle.

If the angle is more than 85°, it do not make a linear pair.

Therefore, the answer is no. Two obtuse angles cannot form a linear pair.
