The hardy weiberg law or principle states that allele and genotype frequencies in a population will remain constant from generation to generation in the absence of other evolutionary influences.

Hardy weiberg equation can be used to measure whether the observed genotype frequencies in a population differ from the frequencies predicted by the equation.
This equation can be used step by step:
☆ Add up all the individuals to calculate the total population.
☆ Find q square
☆ Take the square root of to find
☆ Use the first hardy weiberg equation ( ) to solve for.
