Hi there !!

Given,

to solve and find the value of x

 \frac{x - 2}{4} - \frac{x - 3}{5} = 1

Taking 20 as LCM,
we have,

 \frac{5(x - 2) - 4(x - 3)}{20} = 1

 \frac{5x - 10 - 4x + 12}{20} = 1

 \frac{x + 2}{20} = 1

x + 2 = 20 × 1

x + 2 = 20

x = 20-2

x = 18

Substituting the values,
we have,
RHS = 1
LHS = 18-2/4 - 18-3/5

16/4 - 15/5

4 - 3 = 1

LHS = RHS = 1

Hence x = 18
