The Sub-Regional Science Centre at Solapur is a popular attraction which houses galleries on Textile and Fun Science for the young and the old to explore. The gallery on Textile displays the science and technology of textile printing and production including the evolution of textile technology and its social impact over the years.
The Fun Science gallery and the Science Park are places where visitors can learn science in an interactive way and get to know reasons behind various processes. The center also comprises of a 3-D theatre which is attached with a sprawling 2.5 acre Science Park.
