Hi,

I have solved this puzzle and below is the explanation and the steps:

1.  Since the sum of the 3 music player’s are 12, I have divided 12 to 3. The answer is 4. So 1 music player is equal to 4.

4 + 4 + 4 = 12

2.  1 music player is equal to 4. So I am subtracting 10 from 4, answer is 6. There are 2 sets of CD’s, so dividing 6 by 2 will give you the answer 3. The total numbers of CD’s in the 2 sets are 6, so 1 CD is equal to 1.

4 + 3 + 3 = 10

3.  3 CD’s are equal to 3, so I am subtracting 15 from 3. Answer is 12. Now I m dividing 12 by 2, because there are 2 Saxophone’s. Answer is 6. So 1 Saxophone is equal to 6.

3 + 6 + 6 = 15

4.   1 music player is equal to 4 and 1 CD is equal to 1. Since there are 2 CD’s, we need to add 4 plus 2. Answer is 6. 1 Saxophone is equal to 6. The final answer is 36.

4 + 2 * 6 = 36

HELLO DEAR,

let the one music player be x
one CD"s be y
And Saxophone be z

Now,

According to questions,

Case--(1)

there are three music player's (x)

x + x + x = 12

3x = 12

x = 12/3

X = 4

case--(2)

In this case, there are one music player and pair of 2CD's with pair of3 CD's

X + 3y + 3y = 10

4 + 6y = 10

6y = 10 - 4

Y = 6/6

Y = 1

Case---(3)

There is one CD's with pair of three CD's + two Saxophone

3y + 2z = 15

3(1) + 2z = 15

2z = 15 - 3

z = 12/2

z = 6

NOW,

Case----(4)

In this case, one music player + one CD'S with a pair × one Saxophone

= X + 2y × z

= 4 + 2(1) × 6

= 4 + 2 × 6

= 4 + 12

= 16

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
