Explanation:

Acceleration is change in velocity upon time.

a= velocity/ time

e.g= a car travel with 20m/s in 4 sec so, acceleration will be

a= 20/4

= 5 m/s^2

Average acceleration is total change in velocity upon change in time taken.

a.v acceleration= V2-V1/t2-t2

e.g a car has velocity 2m/s and 8 m/s at time 1sec and 4 sec respectively.so, a.v acceleration will be

a.v acceleration= 8-2/4-1

= 6/3

= 2 m/ s^2
