Can urine from a frog or toad make you blind?

Frogs and toads are related, but they're not exactly alike. ... If caught, a toad will likely puff itself up with air, urinate, and secrete these bufotoxins in an effort to get dropped. Neither the toxin nor the urine is harmful to humans (unless ingested).

  • You must have heard that urine of frog s/toads makes you blind. But hang on, that's just a myth.
  • Frog/toads when picked up by humans urinate in self-defense.
  • However, this urine in non-toxic & can't blind humans.
  • But of course, when frogs/toads pee in ur eyes, it can become difficulty to see temporarily.
