we can not construct a parallelogram SOAP in which AP=6cm AS=6.4cm and op=4.6cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AS = 6.4 cm

Step 2 : find mid point of AS at M AM = MS = 3.2 cm by bisection mthod or ruler

Step 3 : From point A Draw an arc of radius = 6 cm

Step 4 : Draw an arc from M of 2.3 cm ( = 4.6/2) such that it intersect arc drawn in Step 3

But its not possible to intersect that arc

as 2.3 + 3.2  < 6

=> 5.5 < 6

as AMP is a triangle

and sum of two sides should be > third side

but here 5.5 < 6  Hence this construction not possible

we can not construct a parallelogram SOAP in which AP=6cm AS=6.4cm and op=4.6cm
