no because there won't be oxygen in space

Anonymous: it's not fire there in sun dear... it's fusion and fission that takes place in sun... that's a different case..

No... because oxygen is needed for combustion to take place and as we know there is vaccum in space.. therefore we cannot fire a matchstick in space...
