Well, to create man-made worm holes, first we'll need to understand their nature fully and have to locate one in the observable universe, as until now, worm holes are only theoretically possible with existence being proved by complex maths and physics. However, we are yet to see one in reality in the universe.

Once we locate it, we have to see whether it can transport humans along with our intergalactic travelling vehicles or not, because they may collapse on themselves which may result in humans being stuck in it forever. Therefore, the stability of a wormhole is of prime importance.

Well, according to the equations which prove their existence, we can create wormholes (man-made), however we'll need large amounts of gravitational energy to be created, which humanity hasn't figured out yet.

Therefore, we may be able to make wormholes, which may not be possible through our current technology, but may be entirely possible in the not-so-distant foreseeable future!
