can we replace potassium permanganate with any other substance to realse oxygen?

we can use Na2Cr2O7 can be used it is more reactive than K2Cr2O7 but it is highly soluble with water and forms lumps. above said both are good oxidising agents. and use of H2SO4 is also suitable
