Can we stir AgNO3 solution with a copper spoon? Why or why not?

AgNO3 is silver nitrate. Silver's reactivity according to the reactivity series is lesser than that of copper (Cu). So we cannit stir the solution as the solution would be displaced by copper. We should instead use a glass rod for this.

No, we cannot use a Copper spoon to stir Silver Nitrate solution .
This is because Copper is highly reactive with Nitrate ions and forms a much more stable compound (Copper Nitrate) than Silver Nitrate .
The copper present in the spoon displaces the silver from the silver nitrate solution and forms copper nitrate. The solution turns from colourless odourless Silver Nitrate solution to Blue Copper Nitrate solution.
This is the reason that we cannot use copper spoon to stir Silver Nitrate solution.
