why naphtalene balls kept in your clothes disappear with time without leaving any solid or any wet area ?

It's because naphthalene balls have the quality to sublime which means that they directly changes from solid state to gaseous form without changing to liquid state, this process is known as sublimation. And so Naphthalene balls evaporate without leaving any wet area from clothes.
