We can store copper sulphate solution in a silver vessel but not silver nitrate solution in a copper vessel. ... Butstoring copper nitrate in silver vesselis possible as silver is less reactive than copper so it does not reacts withcopper nitrate solution.

The order of reactivity of elements in the decreasing order is as follows

Li > K > Ca > Na > Mg > Al > Mn > Zn > Cr > Fe > Cd > Co > Ni > Sb > Pb > H_2 > Cu > Hg > Ag > Au

As we see silver is less reactive than copper.

Therefore, silver cannot displace copper from its salt solution. Thus, when copper sulphate solution is placed in silver vessel, there will no displacement reaction and no corrosion will occur.

It can be concluded that copper sulphate solution can be stored in silver vessels.
