The quadrilateral has 4 angles and their values

are in AP, the first being unknown but the CD is

20 degrees. The equation for the sum of an AP is

Sn = (n/2)[2a+(n-1)d]... (1)

Here we do not the first value, a,, but we know

the rest. Sn = 360, n = 4 and d = 20. Let us

substitute the values in the equation (1), to get

360 = (4/2)[2a +(4-1)*20], or

360 = 2[2a + 3*20]. or

180 = 2a + 60, or

120 =a, or

a=60.

Hence the four angles are: 60, 80, 100, 120

degrees.
