The theory of joining the p type semiconductor and n semiconductor is not valid.
- The important thing is the depletion layer between the p-n junction.
- This layer cannot be made when we attach the both as same.
- The actual diagram is not same as given in books of p-n junction.
- The properties of temperature and others will effect the junction if they join separately .
- There is proper doping on the semiconductor to form the semiconductor.
- That's why it is not possible.
