No we can't write y2 - y1 as y1 - y2

Reason :-


If both are positive and
y2 > y1

then, y2 - y1 > 0

but if we will write it as
y1 - y2 then it will be

y1 - y2 < 0

Hence, the answer would become wrong.


If both are negative and,

y2 > y1

then y2 - y1 < 0

but if we will write y1 - y2 the it will become > 0

Hence, we can't write that.
